When the other frogs saw how deep the pit was, they told the two frogs that there was no hope left for them.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">However, the two frogs ignored their comrades and proceeded to try to jump out of the pit. However, despite their efforts, the group of frogs at the top of the pit were still saying that they should just give up as they\u2019d never make it out.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Eventually, one of the frogs took heed of what the others were saying and he gave up, jumping even deeper to his death. The other frog continued to jump as hard as he could. Once again, the group of frogs yelled at him to stop the pain and to just die.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">He ignored them, and jumped even harder and finally made it out. When he got out, the other frogs said, \u2018Did you not hear us?\u2019<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The frog explained to them that he was deaf, and that he thought they were encouraging him the entire time.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_151522\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-151522\" style=\"width: 825px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.english-culture.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/the-precious-value-of-life-english-culture.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-151522\" src=\"https:\/\/www.english-culture.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/the-precious-value-of-life-english-culture.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"825\" height=\"519\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.english-culture.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/the-precious-value-of-life-english-culture.jpg 825w, https:\/\/www.english-culture.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/the-precious-value-of-life-english-culture-300x189.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.english-culture.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/the-precious-value-of-life-english-culture-768x483.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.english-culture.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/the-precious-value-of-life-english-culture-467x294.jpg 467w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 825px) 100vw, 825px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-151522\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The precious value of life<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The precious value of life<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">A man went to God and asked, &#8220;What&#8217;s the value of life?&#8221;<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">God gave him one stone and said, &#8220;Find out the value of this stone, but don&#8217;t sell it.&#8221;<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The man took the stone to an Orange Seller and asked him what it&#8217;s cost would be.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The Orange Seller saw the shiny stone and said, &#8220;You can take 12 oranges and give me the stone.&#8221;<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The man apologized and said that the God has asked him not to sell it.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">He went ahead and found a vegetable seller. &#8220;What could be the value of this stone?&#8221; he asked the vegetable seller. The seller saw the shiny stone and said, &#8220;Take one sack of potatoes<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">and give me the stone.&#8221;<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The man again apologized and said he can&#8217;t sell it.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Further ahead, he went into a jewelery shop and asked the value of the stone.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The jeweler saw the stone under a lens and said, &#8220;I&#8217;ll give you 50 Lakhs <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">for this stone.&#8221; When the man shook his head, the jeweler said, &#8220;Alright, <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">alright, take 2 crores, but give me the stone.&#8221;<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The man explained that he can&#8217;t sell the stone. Further ahead, the man saw a precious stone&#8217;s shop and <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">asked the seller the value of this stone.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">When the precious stone&#8217;s seller saw the big ruby, he lay down a red cloth and put the ruby on it. Then he walked in circles around the ruby and bent down and touched his head in front of the ruby.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">&#8220;From where did you bring this priceless ruby from?&#8221; he asked. &#8220;Even if I sell <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">the whole world, and my life, I won&#8217;t be able to purchase this priceless stone.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Stunned and confused, the man returned to the God and told him what <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">had happened. &#8220;Now tell me what is the value of life, God?<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">God said, &#8220;The answers you got from the Orange Seller, the <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Vegetable Seller, the Jeweler &amp; the Precious Stone&#8217;s Seller <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">explain the value of our life..<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">You may be a precious stone, even priceless, but <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">people may value you based on their level of information, their belief in you, their motive behind entertaining you, their ambition, and their risk taking ability. But don&#8217;t fear, you will surely find someone who will discern your true value.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">In the eyes of God You are very very precious ???<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Respect yourself. You are Unique. During some point of the journey they had an argument, and one friend slapped the other one in the face.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying anything, wrote in the sand;<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cToday my best friend slapped me in the face.\u201d<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">They kept on walking until they found an oasis, where they decided to take a bath. The one who had been slapped got stuck in the mire and started drowning, but the friend saved him. After he recovered from the near drowning, he wrote on a stone;<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cToday my best friend saved my life.\u201d<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The friend who had slapped and saved his best friend asked him;<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cAfter I hurt you, you wrote in the sand and now, you write on a stone, why?\u201d<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The other friend replied;<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cWhen someone hurts us we should write it down in sand where winds of forgiveness can erase it away. But, when someone does something good for us, we must engrave it in stone where no wind can ever erase it.\u201d<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Moral of the story: <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Don\u2019t value the things you have in your life. One day his horse ran away. Upon hearing the news, his neighbors came to visit. \u201cSuch bad luck,\u201d they said sympathetically.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cMaybe,\u201d the farmer replied.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The next morning the horse returned, bringing with it three other wild horses. \u201cHow wonderful,\u201d the neighbors exclaimed.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cMaybe,\u201d replied the old man.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The following day, his son tried to ride one of the untamed horses, was thrown, and broke his leg. The neighbors again came to offer their sympathy on his misfortune.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cMaybe,\u201d answered the farmer.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The day after, military officials came to the village to draft young men into the army. Seeing that the son\u2019s leg was broken, they passed him by. The neighbors congratulated the farmer on how well things had turned out.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cMaybe,\u201d said the farmer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Elephant and the Rope<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">A gentleman was walking through an elephant camp, and he spotted that the elephants weren\u2019t being kept in cages or held by the use of chains.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">All that was holding them back from escaping the camp, was a small piece of rope tied to one of their legs.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">As the man gazed upon the elephants, he was completely confused as to why the elephants didn\u2019t just use their strength to break the rope and escape the camp. They could easily have done so, but instead, they didn\u2019t try to at all.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Curious and wanting to know the answer, he asked a trainer nearby why the elephants were just standing there and never tried to escape.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The trainer replied: \u201cwhen they are very young and much smaller we use the same size rope to tie them and, at that age, it\u2019s enough to hold them. As they grow up, they are conditioned to believe they cannot break away. They believe the rope can still hold them, so they never try to break free.\u201d<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The only reason that the elephants weren\u2019t breaking free and escaping from the camp was that over time they adopted the belief that it just wasn\u2019t possible.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">You can also read the following
