I was a bit mad. I became a Samurai during my teens, I stopped fighting with my body at forty, I started struggling with my mind at 14, perhaps when I was born. I have died several times, now I write to avenge my past and to remember the shaman, the witch doctor, and the lovers who have killed me, trying to be thankful and grateful to all my masters of arms and to all my ghostly friends. <\/span>

I’m Carl William Brown, a holistic teacher, a webmaster, and a writer of aphorisms and essays. I have written more than 9,000 original quotations and at present I’m also working at my only novel, Fort Attack. At the moment I’m teaching english in a secondary school, but up to now I have done a lot of other things as well, both in business, educational, sport and social fields.<\/span>

Some years ago, in 1997 following the examples of the Rotary or the Lyons Clubs I founded the Daimon Club Organization to promote every sort of activities, creativity, art, literature, new technologies, informatics, business and marketing, public health and education and to meet new friends with these kind of interests. Basically I’m a reformer, a philosophical hacker and a fighter against stupidity, violence, racism, ignorance, social disparities and the old laws of copyright.<\/span>

You can write on your paper, then on your website, afterwards you can create a blog, and then several others, at this point you should share your words and thoughts through Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Goodreads and so on. Finally you might create some e-books to place on different online stores, and then you wait, to see the possible results while envying the writers of the past.<\/span>

I remember a very nice and petite Muslim girl from Bangladesh, aged 18, familiarly named Nity, looking like the Holy Virgin, and attending a commercial school in Italy. Her desk was attached to my teaching post, because the classroom was quite small. She was very serious and diligent, and sometimes suffered from headache. I must admit she was one of my favourite students, but obviously I never let her know. One day I saw her jumping and running, smiling along the corridor, so I asked her the reason of this joyful manifestation, and she replied, extremely sweetly ad politely as usual, that the Geography teacher unfortunately that day was absent. After the school year I never saw her again, but that memory from time to time returns to my mind when I am thinking of the past events, and still helps to lighten my melancholic mood.
