Smart People Vote For Obama! Stupid People, Er, Voted For Bush!

That statement is just wrong, and I’m glad Russert apologized.  I had a good laugh actually.  Do I agree with him?  Well…

However!  I do believe stupid people voted for Bush people who voted for Bush made a stupid choice and that is the statement I wish Russert made.  Don’t you agree?  If I voted for Bush, I’d definitely feel stupid.  Now if I voted for Bush twice…

    Well, one might vote for McCain if you believe the economic cycle is not controlled by the President and instead, by the Federal Reserve. And if you believe Obama will raise your taxes. Obama’s promise to cut middle class taxes is eerily similar to Bill Clinton’s 1992 promise to cut taxes for the middle class. Once elected, Clinton did the exact opposite, and raised taxes on the middle class. I think Obama would do the same, but he can admit that right now before the election.

    Corrected my original post…because it wasn’t my intention to call people stupid or smart…sort of. :)

    And I think I see your point, until everything is said and done, who’s to say who made the smart choice.

    Whether or not Obama/McCain raises or lowers taxes is not that relevant to me personally.
