I think pfblogs.org is a great tool, but I’m not sure it’s realizing its full potential by being ‘ad-free’. I personally think Flexo should add some advertising to it. Who’s Flexo? He’s the webmaster for pfblogs.org. It’s a great site that offers everyone, even “non-friends,” a place to have their posts easily accessible. Plus he might be able to offer “friend” status for a better price

POLL: Pfblogs.org Should Drop ‘Ad-Free’ and Start Making Some Cash…
And Finally I’ve Redeem My ThankYou Points!!!!!
I finally got my Amazon.com gift certificates from Citi. A month long process it was. You can read more about it here. Now to decide what to buy…maybe I should use it to purchase Christmas gifts…since that along with my free iPod could make some pretty nice gifts!
NFL Picks: Week 3
Here we go again! This week looks really good! So many picks I really like. I actually had a hard time choosing the not-dumb pick, and there is no dumb pick this week. They are all pretty decent. Unlike last week, I expect to see pretty good results. I hope. We shall see…time to put away my crystal ball. Good luck!
Life Handed Me Some Lemons…Make Lemonade? Screw That!
So life handed me a bunch of lemons this week…The saying goes, “Life hands you lemons, make lemonade.” I say screw that! I’m going to make me some lemon bars.
Where do I start? Let’s see I can think of at least 4 things this week that put a damper on it…2 you already know, but I’ll elaborate more in this post.
Maybe I’m Missing Something Here, Why Would You Choose To Be In Debt?
I might be missing something obvious. The more I read other PF Blogs, the more I think about why people choose to be in debt when they don’t have to. Excluding folks that have financial burdens that force them to be in debt to accomplish a goal and purchasing a home, why would you choose the debt route? If you read PF materials or are a PF Blogger, it’s obvious that you have at least a fairly good grasp of finances, so why choose debt? Especially unmanageable debt.
I see folks signing up for loans at rates greater than 10% even though they are fully aware of their financial standings. Is it because they are keeping up with the Jones’? Is it because of financial ignorance during the younger years? Or even older years?
POLL: Just Fire Me Already. Put Me Out of My Misery. How About You? Quit or Be Fired?
If you’re wondering why I haven’t been blogging as much recently, it’s because works been crazy. On top of that, my primary work computer CRASHED. When it rains it pours!

Oh How I Wish I Were Meg Whitman of eBay
I love to ponder what if questions. So in this episode of pondering, I thought about great business models, and wondered what if I were Meg Whitman and/or how life would be with a business like eBay. Oh, in case you’re wondering who is Meg Whitman, she is the President and CEO of eBay. Out of all the businesses out there, eBay is one that intrigues me because it’s, well, awesome. By the way, I’m not that choosy, I wouldn’t mind being Warren Buffett, Bill Gates, or even poor Michael Dell. But this is a post about what makes eBay so much better than Berkshire Hathaway, Microsoft, and Dell.
NFL Picks: Week 2 Results
The results are in! A tough week is right.
Man what happened to Green Bay? I thought I had that one in the bag, and they just fell apart. Theoretically, as the weeks go on, I should be able to make “better” picks since, I’ll have more data to go on…The first two weeks are harder because, well, it’s a guess. I’ve been able to see how they play…so no more excuses from here on out. Hah. At least I’m still above .500…barely.
I Hate Shopping For Everyday, Simple Items…
I hate shopping for everyday items because…I have a problem. You already know I’m a “tease shopper,” but tack on the more serious problem of mine, and shopping becomes a nightmare. What’s my problem you ask? It’s my inability to purchase something that’s not the “best deal.”
POLL: Costco Or Sam’s Club? Which Do You Prefer?
Alright, it’s pretty obvious Costco and Sam’s Club are sworn enemies. There’s hardly a situation in retail where it’s battle between just two, but in the case of Costco and Sam’s Club, there really are just 2 (I think). 1-on-1 battle for the hearts and souls of bulk shoppers everywhere.
Which would you choose between the two? If you would choose another big box wholesaler that I may not be aware of vote ‘other’ and leave a comment!
