I can’t believe how much spam I’ve been getting recently! 1,002 at present count. Thank goodness I don’t have to manually delete a majority, and I’ve been finding only a small amount has actually been real comments. I apologize if you’ve been a victim of my spam filter.
This week, I’d like to focus on the folks behind the blogging, if you haven’t seen this post from Tired But Happy, check it out. She’s “hit a lull,” and I can relate. Blogging is great, but like anything in life, sometimes interest is lost, we don’t have enough time to keep it up, etc. Feedback and comments make all the difference, so head on over, and say hello.
Speaking of lulls, Single Ma hasn’t hit one, but she’s going to be going through some challenging times ahead…wish her well.
Back to the PF topic, I just posted up about why I couldn’t be a realtor…you might want to check out this little conversation between LAMoneyGuy and a random one he ran into…I’m glad I found one already.
D over at Divorce 2 Freedom has a great post on making estimated tax payments…I was thinking 9/15 is a little early to be paying regular taxes…
Did you know the PF Blogging world has a budding actor? Yes, we do! Go and congratulate Steven over at Finding-freedom.
Thanks to Frugal over at My 1st Million At 33 for digging me this week!
Finally, just wanted to share what I thought about last night’s special on ABC Primetime about bullying. It was pretty good. I was kind of surprised that the episode focused on girls, rather than bullying in general. The last few minutes, hearing Ryan’s dad, John, speak was heart wrenching. The amount of strength it took to forgive that girl Ashley is tremendous. I can’t believe how cruel the world can be. I thought the quote by Madaleine Albright that Diane Sawyer said at the end was kind of funny…I could imagine all the ladies listening to that cringing. She said Albright was quoted saying something to the effect of, “What would it be like if women ran the world? If you forgot, you may have forgotten what high school was like.” I think a 50/50 mix would be just fine. If you want to watch clips and read the story, check it out on the ABC site.
Have a great weekend everyone!

Not early for paying taxes, late if you have been making money all year.
Estimates are due 4/15, 6/15, 9/15 and 1/15.
Don’t keep Uncle waiting you could be sorry. He’s a bad man!

I hate spam with a passion:evil: I applaud google and yahoo for having the spam filters to weed out this garbage. Also enjoyed the post on bullies

D, Yeah, I’ve already had a run in with Uncle Sam during college…don’t want that to happen again.
AmDollar, I hate spam too! I can’t believe business would actually authorize that kind of activity.

LOL on the Albright quote! Having raised 3 boys and 2 girls, I can attest to just how vicious girls can be during high school (although junior high was even worse). However, they’ve all grown into responsible adults, so it’s not like that stage lasts forever.

Kate, Thank goodness it doesn’t last forever…usually. Mean women not good for men. Haha…
