Financial Freedumb and Brownie

Thanks to Jonathan over at MyMoneyBlog.com, I’ve decided to open up an account at TD Ameritrade.  If you didn’t know, I’ve started my Christmas shopping, this Nano maybe one of my gifts.  Before you jump on me for being a cheap *ss, hey a 2GB Nano iPod is nothing to sneeze at!  I want to keep it for myself infact.

I’ll be posting up ways I’m saving on Christmas shopping in a few weeks.

About the TD Ameritrade account, I opened up a cash trading account, with the $10,000 minimum.  I didn’t have any accounts at TD Ameritrade, so this is my first.  I don’t plan to do much with that money, maybe buy a CD.  While opening up the account, which was fairly painless, I didn’t see the promo screen, where I wanted to enter promo code ’931′, which is for the Nano.  So I had to contact Ameritrade via email after the fact.  They associated my account without any problems.  I’m looking forward to seeing my Nano in 8 weeks or so!
