Check Out the “Dreambook” From Ameriprise Financial…Oh and By the Way, It’s Free

07 Aug

Retirement DreambookI’m a sucker for freebies.  A free napkin?  SWEET!  A free pen?  SWEET!  A free “dreambook”?  SWEET!  Wait, what is a “dreambook”?  (It actually is titled “The Dream Book,” but I like Dreambook…actually, I already published this post, so I don’t want to screw with the title.)

Well, I got it in the mail today, and it’s pretty cool.  It smells fresh of the presses, bound, and everything.  But the beauty of it is not on the outside, it’s what’s on the inside.  It starts off with a saying by Eleanor Roosevelt, “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”

It’s mainly a book that lets YOU write things in it.  Asking questions for you to think about…But in addition to lots of blank pages, are statistics and interesting facts:

  • Top 10 retirement businesses
  • Trends for people ages 50-59 (retirement concerns)
  • Average vacation costs
  • Concerns on location of where to retire
  • How long will your money last?

Pretty neat I say.  Of course it includes Ameriprise’s number at the end, but heck they are giving these away.  So why not sign up?  I haven’t received any telemarketing calls, so that’s good.  Anyway, just thought I’d share…

What’s up? They had a link to download the book after I requested one. Will I still get the real live book one?

If not I will suffer with the PDF.

I’m grateful though – thanks!

Hmph, I don’t recall getting offered a PDF version…I hope they didn’t change it. I’m not sure if you’ll be receiving the paper version…I hope so! Sorry if you don’t.

This is a follow-up. I received the real book in the mail. I don’t have to print it from their PDF. Isn’t life grand!!

I can’t wait to put my dreams down on paper and then make them reality.

    Thanks again
